child support

I was not awarded the first seven years of support, only retro to my filing date. he was abusive and stalked me for 4 years and I TRO's and police reports to prove duress. Can I Petition for those first 7 years?

Good morning. I read your posting. In my opinion you should consider going back to court and request the court to consider extending the date of retroactive child support. However, this should be done right away if the court entered a final order. If the court's order was final, you will likely have to pay a clerk of court fee to vacate or modify the order. If more than 30 days has passed since the court's final order, you will have to include your affidavit. I will be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have.
