Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

child support

I have caught up with my arears for my child support and then the judge found me contempt of court because duing the year i gave 10% of earning to the church. Yet i am over 16,000 $ in the hole from my business. My 10% is my religious belief by which i believe is my obligation to the church. Is there any case law i can present upon my next court date to refute this contempt of court issue. They now want to send me to jail because i paid tithes and offering to my church.

Re: child support

Hello. If appears that the Court has

boxed itself into a corner. I find it very distasteful for the Court to

criticize your titheing to your church. You may want to appeal whatever the Court does in this situation. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
