Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child Support

I have two children(14/12) and I've been divorced from their father and we are talking about one of them moving with him. How would my child support change? Would it go to the percent of one child?

Re: Child Support

There's actually surprisingly little guidance in these split custody situations. I would suggest the appropriate thing to do would be to look at the 1 child guideline for each parent, 20% of your and the father's respective net incomes. And then take the difference of those two figures and the parent with the higher income would pay support to the lower income parent.
