Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child support, custody, and visitation questions

I am in the USAF and am stationed overseas. The mother of my child moved states(Chicago to Washington) without telling me anything. Come to find out that she has been there for 2 months. Is there anything I can do as far as child support changes, child custody and visitation goes? And does her moving w/o notification work to my advantage? Thank you and have a good day!

Re: Child support, custody, and visitation questions

Assuming there is a court case, you certainly

should petition the court in Illinois to

establish a visitation schedule between you and

your child. Certainly, you should have been

notified and should have had mom's new address

and phone number right away. If you can retain a lawyer in Illinois, take action soon.
