child support and following the items set up in the divorce decree

How far behind in child paymens does the father have to be for me to take him to court, and does he have to comply with divorce decree on items he is to pay for have for the children (health car)

Everything in the Judgment should be complied with. I think a lot of your thinking should be based on things like the hassle and cost of you going to court and getting a lawyer...if father's 10 days late every month but he pays I wouldn't get too excited. If he's getting more than $500 - $1,000 behind in support, get into court now. Couple other things, make sure that you're sending him writings or proof of things like school expenses and health costs, ect. It's a much easier and stronger case for me when I have good evidence like that rather than the custodial parent who doesn't even tell the other parent about the expenses and then expects a court to do something about it. Also, note that anytime he's not following court order and you need to go into court, you likely can get attorneys fees recouped from him.
