do joint custody prevents child support in ill.?

Hello. The answer is yes. In Illinois, especially in Cook County, the courts view joint custody in terms of joint decision making and expect that the child or children will in fact reside in the home of one of the parents (the custodial parent) and expect the (non-custodial
parent)to provide child support for the minor children. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
