Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child support laws

If child support is being paid by a direct withdrawl from paychecks, at a set income each month, and the obligator sells some investment property, thus, bringing in extra income, is the obligator suppose to inform the court and pay extra in child support?

Thank you
