Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child support during medical leave form work

My ex doesn't think he needs to pay child support for 3 months after he has an elective surgery. He claims he's not being paid. He has done nothing through the courts to get a reduction during this time. Can I go after him for back child support if he sticks to his plan? How do I prove he was getting an income?

Re: Child support during medical leave form work

In order to suspend child support your husband must get a court order. Untill then, he's under order to pay. If you need help, please call me for an appointment.
