Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child Support

What is the % of net income that is owed a mother, by the chilren's father for child support in Illinois, for twin children? I know that one child is 20 or 25% of net income.

The mother and father are not married to each other nor ever have been.

Re: Child Support

There is no flat percentage of the non-custodial parent's net income allocated to child support. Generally, for two children, support does not exceed 25% but the support amount depends on the income of both parents, any special needs of the child, health insurance needs, childcare needs, etc. The parties can agree to an amount or the court will set it based on the relevant factors and state guidelines for support.
