Child Support

My son is now 16 years old and has been living with his mother.However, he has now moved out and no longer resides with his mother.She is the custodial parent,my question is,why should she still receive the support monies if the child no longer resides with her?

Hello. You are right; mom should not be receiving child support. You need a lawyer to

go to court and stop child support immediately.

In fact, in my opinion, you should determine

whether you are entitled to a credit, but that's a whole different topic. Of course the

whereabouts of your son are important to you,

know as well. You should have an answer to this
