Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

child support

My sons last check was in August. His father has since then opened a new business and refinished a rental property he owns. He has said a number of times he will make all payments in full, which we have yet to recive. Now that it has been over half a year what should i do, and what can i do.

Get a lawyer to file a "rule to show cause" why your ex should not be held in contempt for failure to pay child support. Good luck.
