child support
My wife ran away three years ago i had the kids for the first yr but did not make enough to keep them so she has them now she apllied for state aid so they wanted child support from me but now i make more money and they want to raise it. she does not want them to because she knows i barely get by now. but they told her it doesnt matter. working for the railroad i get more railroad retirement and union dues taken out than any one that get ssn taken out and between higher cost of living near chicago and all the other stuff that is taken out of my check i wont be able to make it if they raise my child support what can i do

Have you received a petition from public aid asking a court to modifiy the child support order? If so then you need to go to court and present evidence to the judge why you can not afford increased child support. The state is going to fight you very hard on this so you need ot have all your financial documents in order and a complete listing of your income and liabilities. I strongly urge you to meet with an attorney to discuss these issues.
