Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child Support

My child will be born in the state of Illinois where I have lived for more then 90 consecutive days, the father however, has never lived in Illinois. Where do i need to file for child support? In the state he resides, or the state where I reside and the child will be born?

Re: Child Support

If you are not married you must file a paternity action in Illinois, because that is where the child lives.
