child visitation
boyfriend with a non discharged cases of
1.)manufacturing and delivering cannabis,
2.) knowingly property damage to schools,
3.) aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/vehicle,
4.)aggravated unlawful use of weapon on person, which was a gun
and currently on parole for a year from being released from prison
and has drinking problems currently. Also he cant find a job with the background, lives in a drug infested house, where they all have threatened me. Would he be able to have custody of his child? **what would the visitation rights be?** would they be denied? i would like to know, because he is threatening to take me to court to take the child, and i dont approve of him.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Not only does he have to show you're an unfit mother, but it would be in the best interest of the child that he have custody. I seriously doubt that he can show that. As for visitation, he would probably be supervised at his expense. Seek the advice of a lawyer. The evidence and proof of these issues can be extremely complex. You will not be able to represent yourself. One who represents herself is deemed to know what a lawyer knows. The judge can't help you. He's an impartial arbitor. You'll be on your own. Get a lawyer.
