Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Childrens sleeping arrangments
I have twin daughters that are 12,almost 13. When visiting
their father the girls are made to sleep in same room and
beds with their fathers other children. The other kids are
much younger. One is a 8 year old girl, one 6 year old
boy, and a 4 year old girl. All the children sleep in one
room with only two beds, therefore when the twins are
visiting sometimes they have to sleep on the floor, or
share a bed with either their father's son or younger
daughter. One of the twins has bad allergies to the animals
at this house, so sleeping on the floor causes her to
sneeze all night long. The twins have voiced that they
have a problem with this. There is an extra room at their
father's house but have only gotten to use it when I have
voiced a stink about the sleeping arrangements. What can
be done about this if anything, to at least make their
stay more comfortable. Their father has the twins for a
month in the summer. He has informed me that the extra
room will be used for the 8 year old so the twins will
have to share the bed or floor for the whole month.

Re: Childrens sleeping arrangments
You could take him back to court but it seems that a conversation between you and the ex should be first completed and if no resolution take him to court so the judge can address this issue.
