Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Is there child-support in joint custody?

In granting a divorce to two indivuiduals, with whom two children are involved, joint custody was given to the parents. The children split the time evenly between parents and finances concerning the children are split. The wife obtained the home and the husband obviously had to find other living arrangements. They curretnly live 5 minutes apart. Would the wife still be entitled to child-support and why?
