Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I let my chilren go with there father 5 days ago for a visit now he wont return them. I have paper that says he is the non custudiol parent. I have contacted the police they told me they couldnt do anything since there was no judges signiture on anything. He is court order to pay me child support but is keeping my kids from me, What can I do?

Get your divorce lawyer to file papers to enforce the divorce decree, or at a minimum to get a certified copy of the court order and try the police again. If that attorney doesn't want the case, get that attorney to give you a few names or check w/ your nearest bar association lawyer referral service for a family lawyer in your area.
