Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

common law

I know common law doesn't exist in illinois but is there any legal action I can take for some sort of compensation for a 16 year relationship

There is no alimony for non-spouses, but there may be some options for you if you have any joint property or children. Feel free to call if you want to talk about your options.
