Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Computer Time
My husband spends alot of time on the computer playing WOW, he is a computer game addict...it has been an issue for a few years, I have talked to him about it and he said he would spend less time on the computer...that happened for about a day. Now its to the point that it takes up his whole weekends and when he gets home from work he goes straight to the puter, is this grounds for a divorce? we have a 14 y.o. son and he spends no time with him nor me. I can't tell you how many times I have brought this to his attention and he just doesn't seem to care that it upsets me, its gotten so bad that we are now sleeping in separate rooms.

Re: Computer Time
You do not need to use grounds to get divorced, you just have to live separate and apart for 6 months (if he's willing to waive the 2 year waiting period) for a no fault divorce (irreconcilable differences).
Re: Computer Time
You don't need any grounds for a divorce other than you don't get along. Basically you can get a divorce anytime you want one. And from the sound of it, your husband appears to be somewhat of a loser.
