Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hello, I am contemplating divorce after 5 years, I am the mom of 2 kids (2 and 5) and make about 34000 a year, and my husband makes about 27000 a year. How is it decided how much he will pay for child support? Is there a hard and fast rule or percentage? I am trying to figure out a "post divorce" budget and wondering how much he is responsible for?

It is a pretty hard and slow 28% of his net income after his paying for health insurance for the kids.
