Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have a court date on tuesday but I am in bangladesh. My father is admitted to hospital and is in critical condition. I can't leave him. My attorney tried to get an extension but couldn't. my friend can pay a portion of the back child support. What can i do I can't leave my father in this condition.
