Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

i have been in court fighting for my rights to be with my three year old son for the last two and a half years, i won my visitation and the judge ordered that the child can not be taken out of the state of ill. The mother, her husband and other children moved to another state and she has given her friend the rights to my son on the days she has him. I recently obtained a letter from the( department of children and family services) stating that her husband is a sexual preditor and that he fled 11 yrs ago during the investigation of 6 children who say that he did sexual things to them. I took that information and presented to the judge and asked for full custody. He now volunters to take a lie detector and passes the test but something about this guy is not right!!!!!!

The department of children family services has since cleared him and says they are trying to locate the children but they told me to keep the information they sent to me and try to get full custody of your son.

my question is can the liedetector results be used in court and what are my chances of obtaining full custody and getting my son away from this guy.

ps: I have been fighting for my son with no lawyer because i lost my job and i am a full time student in college and they have since obtained a lawyer , we have court today at 3:30 and i am a little scared and would just like to know what might happen. thank you
