Don't know why you would want to involve the court in such a family matter. You can always ask his attorney to file a visitation petition for his family, but why would you want to. Your husband is asking for an accommodation since he is not having regular visitation with his son. You do not indicate that this is an unreasonable request, i.e., I am assuming that the visitation is reasonably local and will be of short duration, i.e., not more than a few hours or days. In the interest of on-going family harmony it is best that you agree. You should do what you can to keep the court out of it to avoid establishing a legal precedent granting the family visitation.
