Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am current legally married to my husband ,and he recently as of may 8th 2009 married in another state ,what legal as besides divorce procedures can i take against him?

If he is married in another state, and after marrying you (and still married to you), he is committing bigomy. Reporting him to the authorities and sending proof of his two marriages to them would get the criminal case rolling. State's attorney office is a good place to start.
