Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

custody paperwork

I was supposed to do reaquantence visits with my children and I couldn't afford to go from Illinois to Texas 6 times in a row. I had the for 4 weeks in the Summer of 06. But in the summer of 07 their mother said I couldn't see them. I keep n contact over the phone and have recordings of my girls talking to me. They know who I am and i was wondering if there was a way to amend my paperwork so I could see them this summer.

It involves going to court and asking to modify the child custody agreement.
