Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
custody
I am 18 years old and my brother is 15 and our parents are deceased. He has gotten in trouble with the law. And I am a student at Methodist Univeristy in Fayetteville North Carolina. I was wanting to know would I be able to file for custody of him. There also is trouble with our mothers side of the family they are trying to buy him with getting him a truck and all sorts of things they have already gotten him to say that he was abused by our grandmother, uncle, and aunt. And none of this is true. Also I am planning on having our mother and fathers bodies moved. Is this possible?

Re: custody
This is a very complex situation. You really need to consult with an attorney about this. If you want to fight for custody, it will be very costly. Do you have enough money to provide for your brother? These are considerations you must think of. But definitely consult with an attorney about this. If your brother and everyone else is in Illinois, you're going to want to talk to an Illinois attorney to figure out what you can do to help your brother whether it is custody or something else.
