Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I have been dating a man for the past five months. Two months into the relationship I found out he is a registered sex offender. We have discussed this in great detail and I truly believe he did not commit the crime. However, I am now being attacked by family and "friends" that I am associating with him. He does not live with me. I live in Illinois, he resides in Mississippi but is considering moving back to his hometown which is also my hometown where I live in Illinois. What are my rights?
