Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My daughter is 20 she is in college. My divorce papers say that my ex husband pays half education and for insurance. In Feb 2017 he dropped her from his insurance and I put her on mine. She had a lot of medical problems and he was switching insurance they wouldn't accept her so he dropped her telling her she was 18 and a college student perfect candidate for the medical card. 2nd I don't make near as much a he does so I file for financial aid for her schooling he didn't have to pay anything her first 3 semesters of school but the 4th semester I made more money and she didn't qualify he refused to pay ANY of the schooling leaving me to pay it. 3rdly I know that child support generally stops at 18 however this was not in our divorce papers and on her 18th birthday he stopped paying childsupport without a court order. Is there anything I can do about all of these things?

Waiting all this time may have cost you money. Under 750 ILCS 5/513 you can seek college contribution but that starts from the date you serve the motion on oyur former husband. However he did not have the right under your judgment to drop her from coverage without court approval. You can seek reimbursement for the premiums you are paying for her medical insurance. When he stopped paying support was she still in high school. If that is the case, he did not have the right to stop and you are entitled to child support until she graduated from high school up to age 19. You should talk to a lawyer experienced in this area as soon as yuo are able to do so,
