Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Daughter cut me out of her life

After our divorce in 2003, I had sole custody of my minor daughter. She moved out the week she turned 18. She stated she no longer wanted me in her life. She didn't like the rules at home. What are my obligations to her as far as health insurance, college expenses or support. She has not had any contact with me since she left, and I have no Idea how to contact her. Her father keeps sending me letters stating that I have to pay her health insurance and her college expenses. She is still speaking to him and all her mail goes to his house, but she is not living with him.

What does your divorce decree say about these issues? That is the controlling document in this matter and if you want to alter anything then you will need to obtain a court order.
