Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My daughter lives in florida with her mother and i live in Illinois. I owe 3 years of back child support according to the state, but have receipts to show the money i have sent her. I want to start getting my daughter during the summer months when she is out of school but her mother will not let me. I was wondering if it took her to court if i could get custody of her during the summer months if i owe back child support.

The failure to pay child support is legally not a basis to deny visitation. However you do not indicate if any visitation is court ordered or where the order was entered. you may have to go to FL to obtain any visitation. It would improve your matter if you are at least paying current supp[ort and making some payment on the 3 year arrearage
