Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

my daughter married a divorced man 2 yrs. ago. They live in Maryland

He had a child support agreement with his ex-wife, who also lives in Maryland.

Now the ex-wife wants an increase in her support, she is trying to get my daughter's financial information to show that my daughter is financially better than him and be able to give him her money to the ex-wife. (She does earn more than her husband) Is this legal? or does my daughter's finances have no bearing on the child support agreement that was made before my daughter married him? Thanks for your reply

It is a question of Md law, not Illinois. If it were IL , her income would not be relevant, except s to the basis for her h's expenses claims.
