Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My daughter's ex-husband when to court in Nov. while she was in rehab for alcoholism and had her visitation rights temporarily revoked. She was in rehab for almost 2 months. She is out, sober and starting a new job. How does she go about getting a day in court to ask for supervised visitation rights and adjustment in her child support? She has contacted several attorneys but none are interested in helping as she has no money. She is willing to go to court on her own but does not know how to go about it.. It will be in Champaign, IL Any advise or recommendations?

She needs to go to the court house, ask for the papers necessary to prepare a motion the modify the last court order and serve her ex's lawyer with the motion. The clerk in the court house should give her a court date. No statement is made as to the success or failure of her motion.
