Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Dcfs
My ex-son in law burned down his house with a meth lab. My daughter who did not live there had their children taken away from her because she admitted she had used drugs in the past but was clean at the time. The DCFS worker lied about what my daughter said and my daughter has never gotten to dispute it. This has been going on for 6 months, with continuations every time she goes to court. They have not judicata her and since the time is almost up the judge decided to hear one witness for the state and then he could continue at a later date. My daughter has done everything DCFS has ask of her. She went to rehab but they would only do out patient because she had been clean to long. She took parenting classes she took counseling she got a physiological eval . Every time she does everything they ask they want something else. Now they want a different eval from their physiologist. She has never had a positive drug test. We don't know who to call to get this night mare over with.

Re: Dcfs
Fighting DCFS is tough since they are trained experts, viewed by courts as saving children's lives, and your daughter is representing herself and admitting to past drug use. How do you think that will work out? Your daughter needs to watch what she says, and get legal representation. She will never beat DCFS, whose agents who know the court system by herself.
