death

If my father passed away a year after

getting remarried does my mother have a

right to claim his s.s since she was married

with him longer and had 3 children by

him?

You mother needs to contact social security to determine what if any benefits you father was elligible for. If they were married longer than 10 years, she may have a right to draw benefits based upon the contributions he made over his lifetime. The fact that there was 3 children or that she and your father were married longer than your father and his second wife is irrelevant.
