How do I go about declaring my mother dead if she was buried under a first and last name that was not her name and my sister and I who were 3 and 5 at the time were kidnapped and also had our last names changed to match the name she was buried under? We just found our original birth certificates 4 years ago. We were kidnapped by a priest and put in an orphanage in 1967. It is through a dna test on Ancestry that we found a first cousin and found out our mom's real name and the story of how she went missing in Chicago and no one ever knew what happened to her.
