What is the difference of the chages of Domestic
Battery causing bodily harm and the charge of
Domestic Battery of an insulting or provoking nature?
What makes these two charges different from each
other and what do they mean in accordance with IL.

The distinction is defined in the charge. The first involves physical contact; the second involves verbal threats, abusive language, etc. Both are domestic violence charges on which restraining orders and, if convicted, jail can result.
