Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

i was denied an order of protection from my ex-wife and her boyfriend because the divorce is only 90 days old. now i have to go back to the divorce judge, and i cannot afford a lawyer. my ex-wife continues to complicate my trying to talk to my kids on the phone when i don't have visitation, and has created enough drama that i don't even exercise my 2 days of weekday visitation. plus, she's already pregnant and will be moving in with her boyfriend, with my kids. once they are both together, i know the verbal abuse will increase, if not become physical. what to do?

File a proper motion with the divorce judge on your own since you don't want to hire a lawyer. Your OOP was denied because your divorce is only 90 days old, it was denied because you did not meet your burden of proof as to the threat of harm to yourself. If you are being denied visitation, you need to advise the Judge handling your divorce and ask that a guardian ad litem or a child's representative be appointed to investigate the situation.
