Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
depositions are they objectable
we are in a custody battle where both attorneys are wanting to do depositions. Is this needed and can we refuse to do them? It is just both set parents and fathers spouse being depostioned.

No, if you are ordered to provide a deposition and you refuse then you can be held in contempt of court and possilbly jailed for contempt.
