deseration of children

If a woman is leaving due to dometic violence and the children stay with their father, can the father sue or claim deseration of the children in a court of law?

In my opinion, the husband will not be able to

claim desertion because of the domestic violence

issue. The court's and the law are really hard

on domestic violence. Hubby will be in a lot

of trouble when the court gets wind of the domestic violence. I will be happy to answer
