Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

dicorce

How can you get an irreconcilible differences divorce 6 months after you were married? We have no children, no assets together, nothing to fight over. It seems there is a seperation period my husband does not want to wait on.

Re: dicorce

Irreconcilible differences requires either: 6-month waiting person if you and spouse agree to divorce OR 2-year waiting period if there's not agreement. There are other grounds of course (other than irreconciliable differences) where there is NO waiting period.
