Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Discovery of assets and Debits.

During a divorce,the couple uses the same attorney,(which)is a friend of the husbands.Does the attorney have to explain to them and have each person involved in the procedings fill out a form of Discovery? Each ones assets and debits? or is it up to the attorney. I guess to make this short is it mandatory by the state if illinois for each person to fill out this form? or at least advise them of it?

The income and asset disclosure forms

must be filled out. Generally, the

attorney will supervise to see that

the forms are properly filled out.

However, the individual client is the

one who should make the disclosure.
