Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Disregard of Visitation Hours

My husband and I have custody of our granddaughter. We went to court last April and set up a visitation agreement with the mother (our son is the father). The mother is to pick our granddaughter up on Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m. She doesn't call and doesn't show up until 10 or 11 a.m. How long do we have to wait for her to come? Should we call her before leaving somewhere if we have an appointment? We really want to try and get a long but find we can't schedule anything on Friday's because of this. Also, she's continually late bringing her back. Is there anything we can do? Thank you for your advise in advance.

Re: Disregard of Visitation Hours

Does the court visitation order state the times for picking up and bringing the child back? If so then you will need to file a petition with the court asking the court to enforce its own visitation order.
