What is Illinois law state about custody of children when infidelity is involved. Can a usband win custody if he proves that his spouse had an affair during the breakup of the marriage.

Hello. In Illinois the standard for custody is the best interest of the child. Generally, the court will not consider marital misconduct in custody cases, unless it involves domestic battery or behavior that puts
