My home state is Illinois (dl,voter's reg,car tags) are all through Illinois. Due to my health conditions I need round the clock care which my maternal family is providing in Tennessee. Due to the restraing order I cannot contact my husband. The order states that by not responding I will loose all assets /or equity that has been built in our home. In December I assisted my husband in refinancing the property we share to obtain a lower interest rate. My husband knows I am ill it was due to his neglegengce that a mva occurred that caused me to have perminent brain loss as well as several disabilities. I am currently on disability and he has not paid for any healthcare or my living expenses. When I was able to travel I would go from west tenneessee to joliet Il as often as I could. but my health does not warrant that currently. please help me

Re: divorce
Perhaps you can send a family member up here with a power of attorney to at least inform the curt of your health conditions. You may also want to retain a local Illinois attorney to appear on your behalf. You don't really include enough information in your question to inform me regarding the underlying issue.
