Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

How to get a divorce when not in country?

I was married to US citizen but due to irreconcilable differences, we have separated for about six month now. I had to go back to my home country Pakistan and now I cannot come back to USA due to my immigration case is still in process. Now I want to get divorce so I can stop my immigration case plus I am going to get married in Canada. But I cannot come back to USA and want this divorce done with me being there. What would be the solution and how long and how much it will cost me? Please guide. I got married in Missouri but was living in Illinois for a year before I left for Pakistan. No childeren, no complications.

if you are domiciled in pakistan , than you can file your case for dissolution of marriage rightaway (provided you have the address of the defendant (your husband ) or at least the last known address, for further details and initiation of case please contact .
