Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In the divorce Decree, My husband can claim our daughter every other year on his income tax. Also in the decree is states he is to pay child support, pay for her doctor bills, and other school related activities. He has not paid child support for four years, has never paid her hospital bills, and has never paid for her school activties. Do I have to allow him to take her as a tax deduction this year? he did not contribute to her support.

Unit the court order is changed, he has the right to take the deduction. You need to apply to have the order changed.
