I am filing for divorce in lake county illinois as an indigent person. My husband has already signed the wavier and we have no property or assets to split. we agree on everything. i filled out forms on line. I am moving out of state on 10/11/08 to texas and will not be able to appear in court for the divorce hearing. Is there a way for me to waive being there also, can someone else go in my place?

If you are the one that filed the divorce, you're going to have to be there to testify as to the grounds and your settlement.
