Divorce filing

About 11 months ago ago ( around Jan 26,2007) the lawyer had filed divorce papers in the COOK county court for me. A month later it had to be withdrawn because of some medical reasons. Now we would like to pursue the case. Can we reopen the case or do we have to startfresh again. NOthing has changed in the situation, would like the divorce to happen as soon as possible

If your petition was withdrawn, and there is no pending case in the court system, you have to refile. Should not be a big deal if you already filed once (under the same circumstances).
