Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My divorce was finalized in 2005, in the decree it states that I pay my ex husband child support if after twoyears from the divorce I make more than $25,000. I lived with my parents for four years and finally have gotten back on my feet and have my own place. I barely scraping by, however I know I its the law that I have to pay this. I make more than $25,000 a year now, however I have medical bills, rent, car payment, utilites, gas to meet him half way to pick my daughter. I didnt recieve my raise at work, and dont make what he thinks I make, Im struggling due to the economy. I have a budget typed for the judge, I have receipts from all the clothes and neccessities I have bought for my daughter and will provide to the judge as well. I also have threats that he has emailed me and stating he is going to back pay rwo years from the date of the divorce. He filed a petition in Will County on 1/21/10 and I just received it yesterday there is no court date on the document. My problem is I live in Tazewell County right now and I need to find an attorney here that would be willing to represent me in Will County??? Lastly, what percentage of the law for Illinois is child support, I have heard various answers.

Thank you

First, if it is one child, you are obligated to pay 20% of your net income, no matter what that income is (there are small exceptions, but those are VERY rare). The court does not care if the two parents agreed to some 'deal', where you do not pay support unless you make a certain amount. The court will never honor that deal. You need an attorney to represent you in these matters.
