i want to divorce my husband an d leave the state a.s.a.p. how do i start

You can...(a) start a divorce lawsuit here and leave OR leave and have the divorce lawsuit started here, but then you'll have to come back here if you want to pursue it (unless your H agrees and then much can done remotely), or (b) leave, establish residency elsewhere, and file a divorce there, but note some states do not grant divorces to plaintiffs who move to their state by themselves (this is something you'll have to research), or (c) move and wait for H to file. No matter which way you go, getting a family law lawyer involved is strongly recommended.

There is not enough information here. Are there children involved? Is there any pending support order (are you separated)? If there are children, this can get messy. I agree with the other attorney that deciding how to handle interstate divorces should be done with an attorney.
